From 30 September to 4 October 2026, Dijon came alive with the spirit of adventure for the 35th edition of Les Écrans de l’Aventure. For this new edition, Franklin France was delighted to support the festival as an Explorer Sponsor, alongside those who keep this landmark event alive.
Founded in Dijon in 1992 by Dr Pierre Fyot, Les Écrans de l’Aventure is now the oldest festival of its kind in France. Over the years, it has become a must-attend event, bringing together thousands of spectators each autumn around adventure stories in all their forms.
Over five days, films, books, exhibitions, talks and immersive experiences followed one another, showcasing extraordinary journeys and the stories of women and men who chose to leave the beaten track, take on challenges and share their experiences.
With nearly 20,000 attendees, around a hundred events and the traditional Toisons d’Or awards for film, book and adventure, the festival offers a unique space to discover stories that inspire, challenge and make us want to go further.
Beyond the feats and the landscapes crossed, Les Écrans de l’Aventure highlights values that echo those of Franklin France: curiosity, boldness, perseverance and a desire to explore new horizons.
These stories show that adventure often begins with a desire: to discover, to understand, to dare and to push one’s own limits. These values resonate strongly with the philosophy of Franklin France, which has been committed for more than 46 years to innovation and the pursuit of ever more effective solutions to protect people and infrastructure against lightning.
By becoming an Explorer sponsor of this 35th edition, Franklin France wished to help sustain an event that brings people together, passes on knowledge and inspires a desire to go out and meet the world.
Supporting Les Écrans de l’Aventure also means sharing the same determination : to look further, move forward with boldness and turn ideas into projects.
Through this partnership, Franklin France is proud to take part in this collective adventure and to support a festival that, for more than three decades, has inspired vocations, sparked new projects and invited everyone to explore new horizons.
